Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) organized online training (via Microsoft Team) on “Capacity Building” for Public Sector College Principals of Faisalabad & Multan Divisions from Monday, January 18 , 2021, to Friday, January 22, 2021. The major topics in which training was imparted included Prospects and Challenges in the implementation of semester system in colleges, Establishing learning assessment process inside classroom, University- Colleges relationship (Semester system & assessment policies), Concept, Evolution & Working of Community Colleges in US and Pakistan (Punjab), Associate Degree Programs: Prospects and Challenges, Pedagogy/Andragogy, Online education/Distance learning: Principles & Practices, Critical & Creative Thinking and ICT (Education Technology). The resource persons for the training included Mr. Asim Hameed Butt (Associate Professor Govt College Township Lahore), Dr. Shahid Imran (Professor at UET), Dr. Muhammad Amjad (Professor at UET), Dr. Fahad Noor (Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering, UET, Lahore), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Butt (Principal, Govt College Township Lahore), Dr. Sumaira Rashid (Associate Professor, Forman Christian College University, Lahore).
