Punjab Minister for Higher Education Syed Raza Ali Gillani chaired a meeting of Vice Chancellors (VCs) of all public sector universities in Punjab. PHEC Chairperson Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, PHEC and Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab, Pakistan officials were also present.
The minister said that the Punjab government is committed to achieving quality standards of higher education in association with Punjab Higher Education Commission-PHEC and VCs of all public sector universities in Punjab as part of a collaborative team.
The VCs gave a detailed briefing about their universities’ working and have been directed to develop as well as implement a composite road-map for improving higher education standards.
