Laureate of 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Sir Venki Ramakrishnan had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Tariq Banuri, Chairman HEC Pakistan and Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Chairman PHEC, on the sidelines of Afkar-e-Taza ThinkFest, on January11, 2019, at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore and discussed the various issues and challenges to higher education in Pakistan especially in the field of sciences. The two chairmen shared their vision and strategies to improve the standard of the higher education sector. The event ThinkFest was organized by Information Technology University (ITU) Lahore in collaboration with Punjab Higher Education Commission.
