Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairman PHEC, attended the 7th Annual Speaker’s Convention on Defence Day organized by Pakistan Youth Parliament at Govt. Islamia Graduate College for Women, Cooper Road, Lahore. Addressing the occasion, Chairman PHEC said Pakistan Defence Day is a day to pledge that the Pakistani nation will never compromise its freedom and sovereignty. This day reminds us that Pakistan’s Armed Forces are ready to defend their motherland no matter what may come. Our martyrs and Ghazis are our heroes. We salute the valiant sons of the soil for laying down their precious lives in defence of this motherland. We pay homage to the families of Shuhada for sacrificing their loved ones in the defence of the motherland.
