Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairperson PHEC attended the Departure event of “UVAS Flood Relief Teams” as the Chief Guest. Addressing the ceremony Chairman PHEC said that In the latest scenario of the flood, the way UVAS has taken a lead in helping the flood-affected families and their animals in remote areas is also appreciable. Indeed, UVAS is one of the few universities which have collected such a high amount of donations and has organized these flood relief campaigns in the best interest of the nation and country. The way, the higher authorities of the university, the faculty members, and the students are working day and night to help needy people, not only in Punjab but also in KPK, is an example for the other universities as well. I congratulate the Vice Chancellor of UVAS and his team for successfully completing the Phase-I of the flood relief campaign and I appreciate and wish all the currently going teams, the best of luck, for their activities in the flood-affected areas.
