On the occasion of Defense Day, the Chairperson of PHEC laid a bouquet of flowers at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. Dr. Shahid Munir paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistani soldiers. He said, “The brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland are our true heroes.”

He further stated, “The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army for the defense and security of our beloved country.” During the memorial for the martyrs, Dr. Shahid Munir also prayed for national security and the elevation of the status of the martyrs. Director of PHEC, Dr. Tanveer Qasim, was also present at the occasion.
