The ceremony commemorating International Mother’s Day was arranged by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, the Chairperson PHEC, presiding over the event. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of Dr. Bushra Inayat Raja’s book titled “MAA” (mother), in which she expressed her thoughts behind writing this book and shared a few verses from it, adding a personal touch to the occasion. Distinguished individuals such as Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin, Former Chairperson PHEC, Chairman Al-Hamra Qasim Ali Shah, Dr. Mansoor Baloch, COO PHEC, Dr. Fakhrul Haq Noori, Dr. Zahid Munir Amir, Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Akhtar, Dr. Nabila Irfan, Dr. Faleha Kazmi, and Dr. Fauzia Naz were invited to share their valuable comments on the occasion as well on the book.

The book received high praise from the speakers and reviewers. All the participants paid tribute to Dr. Bushra Inayat Raja for her contribution in writing such beautiful book that focuses on mothers and shared their valuable thoughts and experiences about the significant role of mothers in our lives. The speakers emphasized that this book could serve as a valuable tool to inspire respect for parents among the new generation.

The ceremony concluded with a profound statement from Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, the chairperson of PHEC, who underscored the value and importance of mothers. He stated that mothers are priceless and hold immense significance in the universe. He further expressed that the relationship with a mother is irreplaceable, embodying the love of God in the world. He acknowledged that the favors, rewards, and honors bestowed upon parents, particularly mothers, are so abundant that even a lifetime of gratitude from children could never fully repay them.
