Chairperson PHEC, participated as chief guest of the 9th convocation of PU Hailey College of Commerce at PC Hotel Lahore

The 9th annual convocation of Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce was held at Pearl Continental Hotel, Chairman Higher Education Commission Professor Dr. Shahid Munir was the chief guest of the convocation. The Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission, while addressing the convocation, advised the students that success can be achieved in practical life only on the basis of education and skills, and it is the responsibility of the government to provide a peaceful and safe environment for the promotion and development of higher education. In educational institutions, women should be given equal opportunities to acquire knowledge, and there is a need to create such a safe environment that no one can harass them. He further said that women who get higher education should spread this knowledge in practical life. It’s a waste. Every member of society has to participate in the construction and development. The Chairperson of the Punjab Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munirr while congratulating the students who received degrees and medals said that the development of any country depends on its young generation, whose best education and training is our whole. There is responsibility. And I feel proud to say that Hailey College Punjab University has fulfilled its responsibility well. Hailey College has a history of providing the best educational and training opportunities to the new generation in business and commerce education. On this occasion, Dr. Shahid Munir distributed degrees and medals to the successful students and position holders of M.Phil, M.Com and BCom (Hons).In the convocation, the successful students were seen with the spirit of serving the nation. Acting Vice-Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mehmood, Emerson University Multan Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramzan, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Kashif Anwar, Principal Prof. Dr. Zafar Ahmed, faculty members, and a large number of graduate students participated in the convocation. At the end of the convocation, the chief guest, Dr. Shahid Munir, was honored with an honorary shield.
