Chairperson PHEC attended an event as a special guest regarding the promotion of Japanese language at PC Hotel. Head of Embassy of Japan, Mr. Ryoji Iwasaki, Chief Mission Head, Mr. Ito Takeshi, Kashif Anwar, President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce attended the ceremony.

While addressing on the occasion, Chairperson PHEC, Professor Dr. Shahid Munir recommend the government to make Japanese language a part of the curriculum in educational institutions. Promotion of Japanese language will promote free Japan trade partnership. Japan is the center of industries like automotive, electronics and machinery. Efforts are being made to improve the educational infrastructure and increase the enrollment rate. Promotion of Japanese language in higher educational institutions will create employment and employment opportunities for Pakistani graduates.
