Punjab Higher Education Commission Signs memorandum of understanding with Qasim Ali Shah Foundation (QASF)

Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and Qasim Ali Shah Foundation (QASF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a formal ceremony held today at PHEC Head Office, Lahore. The MoU that inked in the presence of Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmed Khalid, Chairman PHEC, and Mr. Qasim Ali Shah, CEO, QAS Foundation, was aimed at the promotion of professional training and development and enhancement of the learning capabilities and professional skills for career development in the higher education sector in Punjab.

Under the terms of understanding, PHEC and QASF will establish academic linkages and introduce training programs in colleges and universities in various areas including inspirational leadership, professional relationship management, personality and character building, motivation, career counseling, and entrepreneurship.

The scope of collaboration also includes facilitating HEIs to support academic activities and creating awareness on quality education and leadership in the community. It also extends mutual support towards such initiatives at university campuses and colleges which aim at strengthening faculty and students in the higher education sector for effective promotion of peer learning, fostering knowledge, and co-curricular activities. The MoU shall remain effective for 2 years.
