A significant development in the realm of higher education and research in Punjab unfolded as the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Committee conducted an onsite evaluation of Punjab Innovation and Research Challenge Award (PIRCA) Research Projects at the Information Technology University (ITU), Government College University (GCU), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), University of Punjab, (PU) and University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore.

Comprising a team of distinguished experts, the committee, including Prof. Dr. Nadir Hussain, Prof. Dr. Kamran Asharaf, Prof. Dr. Tayyab Hussain, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Imtiaz Shafiq, Dr. Zaigham Abbas, Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Ali Khan, and Waqas Ahmad, embarked on this mission to comprehensively assess the overall performance and impact of the PIRCA projects.
