Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) to engage in multilateral cooperation in a meaningful way to facilitate the capacity building activities (including internships, exchange programs, research projects etc.) for students, faculty, management, and staff of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Punjab.

The scope of the cooperation includes:
i. Cooperation for building of indigenous resources in Science & Technology
ii. Cooperation and coordination in scientific and technological fields for strengthening of HEIs of Punjab.
iii. Cooperation for organizing joint trainings, workshops and fellowship programs.
iv. Development of indigenous solutions to the S&T problems.
