An exhibition of calligraphy was held at Persian Department Lahore College for Women University Lahore on Wednesday 9th August 2023. It was curated by a young and enthusiastic calligrapher of LCWU. The exhibition was consisted of the calligraphy competition held among the students of Persian department . Chief guest of the program Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairperson Punjab Higher Education Commission and Iranian Counsellor General in Lahore Mr. Mehran Muwahid Fard, inaugurated the exhibition where as Vice Chancellor Lahore College for Women University Lahore Prof.Dr. Shagufta Naz , Director General Iran Culture Centre Lahore Mr Jaffer Runa also graced the ceremony with their presence. A large number of students ,CODs of various departments of lcwu, as well as faculty members also visited the exhibition . At this occasion certificates were distributed among 1st ,2nd & 3rd position holders .A certificate of appreciation was also awarded to Ms Asma Ejaz for her efforts in teaching as well as organizing the exhibition. At the end of the ceremony Prof. Dr. Faleeha Kazmi COD Persian ,Dean Islamic and Oriental Learning presented souvenirs to the honorable guests.
