Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir has assumed the charge as Chairperson of Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC). He brings with him rich experience in the field of academia, industry, research, and administration. The newly appointed Chairman PHEC, prior to this new responsibility, was leading the University of Jhang as Vice-Chancellor. Dr. Shahid Munir has earned his PhD in Energy and Environment Engineering from the University of the Leads, UK. On assuming the charge as Chairperson of PHEC, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir convened a meeting with officers of the PHEC. He was briefed about the overall working and performance of the PHEC.
