A high-level delegation of Indonesian education experts visited Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) at Arfa Karim Tower. The delegation was welcomed by the Chairperson, Punjab Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (T.I). Dr. Shahid Munir briefed the delegation on PHEC’s initiatives to promote higher education. The delegation discussed educational exchange programs between Indonesia and Pakistan.

Indonesian students studying in Pakistani universities are satisfied with the quality of education and the education-friendly environment. This was discussed by the members of the delegation. The delegation agreed on the exchange of experts and scholars between Indonesia and PHEC.
The Indonesian delegation included Mr. Rahmat Handiarta, Acting Ambassador/ Counselor at the Indonesian Embassy, Akselsya Mirza, Raden Mohammad Ibrahim, Rhanol Edrodo, Qurra’tul Ain Rafi Afnan, and Haseeb Khan. Dr. Mansoor Baloch Chief Operating Officer PHEC, Dr. Tanveer Qasim Director (Coordination) PHEC, Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Director (Accreditation) PHEC, and Mr. Nouman Maqbool Rao also present in the meeting.
