Punjab Higher Education Commission has organized a one-day Vice Chancellors conference on Quality Assurance, uniting Vice Chancellors from across Punjab’s public and private sector universities, in collaboration with Higher Education Commission Pakistan.

Minister for Education Mr. Rana Sikandar Hayat was the Chief Guest of the conference. The conference participants include more than 75 Vice Chancellors / Rectors, Dean and Directors from public and private Sector Universities of Punjab province. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (T.I), Chairperson, Punjab Higher Education Commission Lahore, Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Secretary Higher Education Department, Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum Executive Director Higher Education Commission Islamabad, Dr. Amjad Hussain DG (A&A) HEC, and Mr. Nasir Shah DG (QAA) HEC spoke on the occasion regarding HEC Institutional Affiliation Policy 2024 and revised Quality Assurance Framework of HEC
Deliberations regarding improvement of quality of education in universities and colleges were mad and participants gave numerous suggestions / recommendations in this regard. The Minister of Education appreciated the joint efforts of PHEC and HEC for uplifting the quality of higher education in the Province.
